The objective of the seminar is to present a comprehensive view of the useful functions WIPO can provide for the benefit of stakeholders in Hungary including the global IP systems, the normative program and major studies, global databases for IP, platforms and tools for the connected knowledge economy. The event will also provide an opportunity for the Hungarian side to present and promote the Visegrad Patent Institute, the newly appointed International Searching Authority and an International Preliminary Examining Authority (ISA/IPEA) under the PCT that became operational as of July 2016.
A brainstorming meeting with WIPO’s Hungarian counterparts in the HIPO will take place on November 17, 2016. |
