The main purpose of this sub-regional meeting would be:
- to discuss and adopt the revised version of the Harmonized Examination Manual, committing to its prompt publication and implementation by the participating Offices;
- to present and accept the online platform and common database of acceptable indications of goods and services, agreeing on a deployment strategy to make it part of the formal examination undertaken by the participating Offices and to make it available to the public; and
- to continue discussing the implications of an accession to the Madrid Protocol for national Offices, focusing on the experience of the Colombian Office. |
