February 20 to 22, 2017 - WIPO-WTO Colloquium; and
February 23 and 24, 2017 - IP Scholars Asia Conference.
Objectives:
- To enhance IP knowledge and to update university teachers on WIPO and WTO treaties on IP, including on current developments relevant to the Asian context;
- Better appreciation and mapping of existing IP scholarship and teaching in the Asian region;
- Identification of more effective ways to improve delivery of WIPO and WTO support for teaching and research needs on international IP law in Asia, including for enhanced sharing of IP teaching and academic exchanges within the region and a strengthened network of Asian IP scholars and teachers; and
- Encouraging the publication of high quality IP research in Asia. |
