The objectives of the competition are to encourage and reward excellence in the invention of Appropriate Technologies that would be utilized by local communities, and contribute to sustainable socio-economic development of local communities by taking advantage of patent information in identifying suitable solutions to specific technical problems. The effective utilization of patent information for devising solutions will be the key element of the competition.
This activity is planned as following:
ORIENTATION WORKSHOPS:
1) El Salvador : on May 29 and 30, 2017, back-to-back with
2) Panama: on June 1 and 2, 2017
3) Costa Rica: on June 22 and 23, 2017, back-to-back with
4) Dominican Republic: on June 26 and 27, 2017
FINAL WORKSHOP:
- El Salvador and Panama: back-to-back, in October 2017
