Reference is made to the 2017 work plan of the Funds-in-Trust Australia which, under theme A2:II, includes a workshop for patent examiners of DGIP on examination in the PCT national phase, namely the utilization of external examination work products from other national phases.
The program (attached) has been confirmed with DGIP and the dates have been agreed. In a recent telephone conference with IP Australia it was confirmed that an Australian expert would join me in the workshop to cover 2 topics which were included following a request from DGIP (preparation of international phase work products). IP Australia also confirmed that the FIT could cover conference cost up to 2000CHF. |
