Study visit of officials from the Copyright Directory of the Ministry of Culture of Albania to the Department of Intellectual Property and Media of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland |

In her letter of September 18, 2017 (Ref. No.6091) (copy attached), Ms. Elira Kokona, Secretary General, Ministry of Culture of Albania, requested WIPO to organize a study visit from the Copyright Directory of the Ministry of Culture of Albania to the Department of Intellectual Property and Media of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland, with the aim to exchange experiences in the field of collective management schemes.
It is proposed to organize this visit to Warsaw on November 20 and 21, 2017. The event will aim to provide an insight into an European Copyright Office. The topics for discussion during the visit are attached. The provisional program will be finalized shortly.
It is proposed that WIPO finance the travel and four DSAs for four representatives from Albania. The Department of Intellectual Property and Media of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland will make arrangements with host institutions in Poland and cover all additional expenses related to the visit. |
