Advisory Mission for providing legislative assistance on Internet Service Providers’ Liability |
| Description : |
1. The Government of Thailand requested assistance to receive legislative advise on the regulation of the status and the liability of Internet Service Providers (ISPs).
2. They are interested in a comparative analysis of different solutions in place in other countries. In particular, they would like to receive more information regarding Notice and Take Down procedure in the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
3. After consultations with the Permanent Mission and officials from the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, it is proposed that Mr. Justin Hughes undertake this advisory mission as external expert.
4. The cost estimate is attached.
