Capacity Building Workshop on Collective management of audiovisual rights (CDIP Project 17/7) |

The director general of the Moroccan copyright office (BMDA), Mr. Menkari, has requested a training to develop skills in the area of collective management of rights related to the audiovisual sector. It is proposed to accept this request which fits within the objectives of the CDIP Project and to extend participation to the 3 francophone beneficiary countries of the project which are: Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire and Senegal.
The training will cover documentation and classification of audiovisual works and performances, licensing and distribution aspects of collective management. It will also address licensing models in relation to TV; on line uses of audiovisual works notably with digital platforms.
The activity is organized as part of project 3 of the terms of reference of Project CDIP 17/7. It relates to capacity building in the area of collective management of rights in the audiovisual sector. |
