As part of our tailored promotion strategy, the organization of a study visit regarding the Geneva (1999) Act for delegates from some countries or international intergovernmental organizations is again foreseen this year.
Firstly, it could help us in our plan to focus the system solely around the Geneva (1999) Act. The Hague Union comprises some inactive members that remain bound exclusively by the 1960 Act.
Secondly, it would be beneficial in terms of wider and more effective use of the Hague System in the current membership and to expand the geographical scope of the system in certain regions.
