The expert / assessment mission will start with a one-day national workshop to orient stakeholders and in-country institutions on the concept, strategy and goal of establishing a networked community, applying a “hub and spoke” structure, as part of the long-term initiative to increase the capacity and pace for technology scouting, absorption, adaptation and innovation in Thailand.
It will be followed by three days of meetings with key stakeholders and government entities in Thailand to determine their technology scouting, absorption, adaptation and development capacity and activities in order to recommend an appropriate strategy for capacity-building and other interventions to create an enabling environment for the desired outcome through a long term initiative of creating an IP hub.
