Título de la actividad: Attendance at the Eighth European Terminology Summit that will take place from November 14 to 15, 2016, at the European Parliament in Luxembourg.
The Summit is organized by the European Association for Terminology (EAFT) in collaboration with the Terminology Coordination Unit (TermCoord), Directorate General Translation, European Parliament, and is one of the most important events on terminology at a European level, gathering together academics, researchers, practitioners, and national and international organizations. It therefore provides for an excellent opportunity to meet with high-level professionals in the field, and to promote the WIPO Pearl and the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) Termbase to them. In addition, attendance at the Summit would allow to follow up from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Conference that I attended in November last year and to discuss further face-to-face with many of the contacts I made (for example, European Commission, European Parliament, (NATO)).
