Implementation of project involves a mission by an international expert and a WIPO official for discussions
The Government of Ghana intends to initiate a process for strengthening its innovation system. They have requested WIPO to provide assistance in integrating IP elements and actors into this process of innovation policy formulation. WIPO has agreed to provide assistance in the form of recommendations on integrating IP into the innovation policy framework of Cameroon.
The objective of these projects is to understand the efforts that have gone into innovation policy making in the country, the impact of those efforts on the ground, identify gaps and needs, if any, from an IP perspective, and make recommendations on integrating the IP actors and the IP system into the innovation system. |
