Due to the increased role of public awareness in the context of Strategic Goal VI, it is in the interest of WIPO to assist the Government of the Philippines in developing a Building Respect for IP Strategy module to be included in the national IP Policy.
This project will provide a blueprint for ASEAN countries interested in developing similar strategies in the framework of technical assistance cooperation activities. It is worth mentioning that ASEAN countries have identified awareness raising as one of the main technical assistance activities requested from WIPO. |
