The Government of Cambodia, which had requested cooperation from WIPO for the establishment of a national IP Academy during phase I of the project, has requested to be reconsidered as a beneficiary country within the start-up academies project as from 2014.
In order to initiate complying with this request, an ICS was offered to Mr. Giulio Zanetti for the development of a cooperation strategy and ad hoc consulting during a period of 12 months.
It is proposed that Mr. Zanetti and Ms. Pimentel, Program Officer, WIPO Academy, undertake a mission to Phnom Penh on April 24 and 25, 2014, in order to meet with local authorities so as to develop a cooperation strategy and define expected results.
