Cooperation with Costa Rica: offering an induvidual contract service for ad hoc consultant |

Costa Rica had initiated cooperation with WIPO for the establishment of a national IP Academy during phase I of the project. As a result of the cooperation, the Academia Costarricense de la Propiedad Intelectual (ACOPI) was launched in April 2012.
The government of Costa Rica has requested to be reconsidered as a beneficiary country within the Start-up Academies project as from 2014.
In order to initiate complying with this request, an ICS was offered to Mr. German Cavazos Trevino for the development of a cooperation strategy and ad hoc consulting during a period of 12 months.
It is proposed that Mr. Cavazos undertakes a two-day mission to San Jose on the first week of April in order to meet with local authorities and update the existing managerial documentation, so as to develop cooperation strategy.
