The objectives of the symposium are to (i) broaden the knowledge of the two global registration systems: the Madrid System for the International Registration of Marks (the Madrid System) and the Hague System for the International Registration of Industrial Designs (The Hague System); (ii) share experiences and practices both on strategic utilization by their users and on their administration by intellectual property (IP) offices; and (iii) brainstorm the opportunities to advance those systems through feedback from their main stakeholders. |
