The Government of Saint Kits and Nevis had expressed interest in hosting a regional activity on the field of industrial property. In this regard, the head of the Intellectual Property Office, Ms. Claudette Jenkins requested, by letter dated June 1, 2011, the organization of a regional workshop on patent policy and the evolution of the respective legislation within the Caribbean region.
