In order to guide the discussions based on facts and evidence-based information for the Conference to reach an informed resolution, we would propose to prepare a Working Paper on “forging strategic partnerships to promote a strategic use of the intellectual property system to support innovation and creativity for Africa’s development” to be prepared ahead of the event and presented during the round table discussions that is planned on the last day.
