The objective of the Symposium is to highlight the importance of intellectual property for business development, wealth creation, overall economic growth as well as the effectiveness of intellectual property policies at the national, institutional and corporation level in tapping the opportunities afforded by the intellectual property system.
An emphasis will be placed on strategic partnerships at international, regional and national level by State and non State actors as well as on the importance of collaborative research i.e. between research institutions and industries to spur innovation, create value and business growth. |
