The Mission will be aimed at holding consultations with relevant stakeholders with a view to: (i) ensuring a better understanding the IP potentials in the handicrafts, agro-business, creative industries, and technological innovation, (ii) identifying potential products that could use IP tools favorably to enhance their value and their competitiveness on the market, and (iii) recommending activities to be undertaken in the short to mid-term. The mission will also be an opportunity to meet with policy-makers, share WIPO’s experience related to IP policies and strategies, the methodology of branding handicrafts and agro-business products, and identify potential partners for effective implementation of recommendations.
