Barrack Otieno, Administrative Manager of AfTLD, has communicated to the Centre AfTLD's envisaged program at its Annual Africa ccTLC Meeting, to be held in Livingstone, Zambia from July 23 to July 27, 2012, to include a presentation regarding WIPO's experience in dispute resolution for ccTLDs. The principal purpose of this Meeting is to look at current global ccTLD issues, the technical and legal framework of cost-effective ccTLD operations and the impact of new gTLDs (including .africa and .dotafrica) on ccTLDs in Africa. Working sessions will relate to ccTLD operations, including the design and administration of dispute resolution mechanisms for ccTLDs. |
