It is important that Mr. Michael Richardson, Deputy Director, PCT Business Development Division, and Mr. Karl Kalejs, Head, PCT Information Systems Service meet with their counterparts at the European Patent Office(EPO) in order to discuss the impact of our respective initiatives for electronic filing and self service under the PCT.
We understand that the EPO have embarked on a direction that is likely to be incompatible with ours, and a meeting is needed to facilitate the management of the risks at hand. |
