WIPO would cooperate in the organization of a Seminar, in Santiago, Chile, on Intellectual Property and Competition Policy for certain Latin American Member States.
Mr. Pires de Carvalho will stay one extra day in Santiago with the purpose of entertaining informal discussions with Chilean representatives of INAPI and the National Economic Prosecutor’s Office on modalities of future participation of Chile in a number of our activities, in particular the surveys on technology transfer agreements and collaborative research contracts. Chile having expressed the wish to take a more active role in the conduction and elaboration of those activities, it is convenient that we streamline the possible modalities. |
