An invitation was initiated by Mr. Dominique Ristori, Director General of the EC Joint Research Center (JRC) during the “TTO Circle” meeting in Rome, April 26 and 27, 2012 in the context of the discussion about potential sectorial areas of collaboration between EC JRC and WIPO. Mr. Giancarlo Caratti, Head of Unit for Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer, JRC, sent an invitation on April 30, 2012 and an official invitation from EC was received on May 2, 2012.
