WIPO-SPC Collaboration on ADR – Study Visit of Judges to WIPO, Geneva |

Since the establishment of the cooperation framework between WIPO and the SPC in 2017, and building on cooperation arrangements with six High People’s Courts in Shanghai, Hainan, Fujian, Guangdong, Chongqing and Sichuan, the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Shanghai Service has administered over 250 mediation cases referred by these courts. The judges will attend the 2026 WIPO Judge Forum, to better understand current international IP jurisdiction trends and developments and engage in discussions with WIPO colleagues from WIPO Judicial Institute and AMC colleagues focusing on the most pressing topics in the ADR cases, in particular the experiences and best practices in court-referred WIPO Mediation. |
