As part of WIPO’s efforts to educate and promote the use of the ASEAN IP Register in 2025, WSO and IPOBSD, in collaboration with ASEAN IP Offices and business associations, will organize ASEAN IP Register promotion activities in nine countries in ASEAN region for two key target groups -- namely (i) IP Offices and intermediaries (e.g., Institutes of Higher Learning, innovation agencies, government agencies, incubators and accelerators, etc.); and (ii) end users (e.g. businesses, IP vendors, enterprise startups etc.) to demonstrate practical applications and benefits of the system, address specific needs and concerns of local users and clients, and promote wider adoption by and integration with national IP processes as well as other foster and facilitate other strategic uses and leverages of IP data. |
