Organization of a National Conference on Geographical Indications (GI) to be held in Kampala on November 7, 2024, to enhance understanding of GIs and the Lisbon System, and strengthen capacity to develop a GI ecosystem in Uganda by improving the policy framework, identifying potential GIs, and creating a roadmap for their protection and commercialization, and holding of bilateral meetings with relevant authorities on November 6, 2024, to discuss the development of Uganda's GI ecosystem, including its potential accession to the Lisbon System. |
