Regional Practical Workshop on Intellectual Property for Local Communities in Traditional Crafts and consultations during the Whitsun Heritage Festival |

The objective of the Workshop is to build capacities and skills on efficient protection and management of intellectual property and implementation of effective branding strategies within the traditional craft communities of Hungary as well as to allow the experience sharing among communities on education, awareness raising, marketing and collaboration issues.
The workshop will allow to increase the impact and share the learning and lessons gathered during the WIPO Training, Mentoring and Matchmaking Program for Women Entrepreneurs from Local Communities in the CEBS Region with the broader handicraft community of Hungary including through the active participation of the two Hungarian participants.
The consultations on May 19 will provide an opportunity to explore and engage with selected communities as well as with the Hungarian Association of Folk Artists on their needs with special focus on branding strategies (collective marks, certification marks and GIs). |
