Raise the awareness of producers, local authorities and
relevant stakeholders about the protection of
geographical indications (GIs) in Uganda and the
challenges faced by local producers of the Rwenzori
Mountains of the Moon Coffee GI and hold discussions
to address future steps which needs to be taken to strengthen the collective management of Rwenzori
Mountains of the Moon Coffee GI.
Undertake field visit to promote exchanges of information
between producers and relevant stakeholders about the
specificities of the product and promote collective use of Rwenzori Mountains of the Moon Coffee GI. |
