National Workshop on Intellectual Property and Mobile Applications: Business and Legal Issues |

In response to the request by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, W IPO is preparing a regional workshop on the creative economy on September 6 in Jakarta. The Ministry is contributing financially to the organization of this workshop which is one of the side events of the ASEAN Summit in Jakarta. It will unite some 100 participants from governments and creative industries rights holders from the ASEAN Indo Pacific Forum and will be opened by
the Deputy Secretary General of ASEAN. With the support of the ASPAC bureau W IPO will contribute to ensuring the participation of several LDCs from the region as well as high profile international speakers.
On September 4 and 5, we are organizing in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia a workshop on the role of IP in mobile applications (a priority area for Indonesia) as part of a CDIP project on creative industries in the digital environment.
