In view of the current consideration of China’s possible accession to the Geneva Act of the Lisbon Agreement, it is suggested that a Field Study on GIs situation in China be organized in Chengdu, jointly with CNIPA, from July 20 to 22, 2023, prior to, and back-to-back with, the China-Central Asia Heads of Intellectual Property Offices Meeting on Promoting Regional Development and Intellectual Property, where GIs are one of the main discussion topics. |
