One of the deliverables of the CDIP project on Enhancing the Use of IP in the Creative
Industries in Developing Countries in the Digital Environment for 2023 is the organization of capacity-building events in the beneficiary countries.
Indonesia, as one of the beneficiary countries of the project, has indicated its readiness to
co-organize a workshop on IP in video games, business and legal issues on May 19 - 20,
2023 in Jakarta. The workshop will take place within the Forum IP Topia, in the form of an IP
class, as suggested by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and will be held in
conjunction with other creative economy activities organized in this period (see attached
concept note). It has been decided by the management that the WIPO contribution to the workshop will be delivered in the form of online presentations to the hybrid event. |
