Organization of the workshop for the members of the National Committee of Geographical Indications of Senegal is a very crucial step towards the registration of the GI "Madd de Casamance" by the African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI)The formal validation of the application file by Senegalese authorities is a central requirement for the registration of the GI by OAPI. The proposed workshop will enable to provide all necessary information about the GI to the members of the national committee by the leading local expert involved in the development of the GI and related application files and enable them to validate the application for GI registration.
