Expert Mission to Saudi Arabia to assess the current status of the Intellectual Property (IP)/Innovation system in the country and advise on the possibility of merging the different IP Institutions |

The expert will be responsible for the following tasks to be undertaken in parallel and in a coordinated manner:
• To meet with Officials of the IP Standing Committee and the relevant Officials at the King Abdul-Aziz City for Science and Technology and any other relevant Official as he may deem necessary;
• to assess the current status of the IP/Innovation system in the country and identify the weaknesses and strengths of the IP system, using the WIPO questionnaire intended for the development of a future national IP strategy;
• to advise on the possibility of merging the different IP Institutions;
• to provide an assessment report which shall be complete, precise and reflect the current status of the IP/Innovation system in the country and contain recommendations for an integrated and efficient management of IP in Saudi Arabia |
