The Meeting would aim to bring together leading University professors and researchers working on IP related issues to review selected themes discussed in the Committee on Development and Intellectual Property (CDIP) in order to have an in depth and critical review of their contribution to the development goals; to identify what are the best practices needed to link IP education to the areas of education and the public policy issues discussed in the CDIP; to indicate how WIPO should re evaluate the design and delivery of its training and educational programs to ascertain and ensure their development orientation and assure that they reflect the Development Agenda principles. |
