Identify the rationale and main incentives behind the establishment of voluntary registration systems around the world; survey similarities and differences among registration processes in participating countries; discuss challenges and opportunities in the field of standards and identifiers; describe existing interactions between voluntary registration and legal deposit systems; and facilitate discussion on areas where improvements and/or international cooperation possible.
Heads of voluntary registration/recordation/deposit systems from the following Countries are invited: Brazil, China, Colombia, Italy, Jordan, Kenya, Mexico, Indonesia, Nigeria, Peru, South Korea, Spain, Singapore, Zimbabwe (ARIPO). |
