II Sub-regional Meeting on Intellectual Property (IP), Innovation and Gender Equality |

The main purposes of this Sub-regional event are:
- to analyze from a gender perspective different aspects related to the development of public policies, innovation processes, use of the IP system and capacity building;
- to debate on the role of the IP Offices with regards to the formulation and support to the implementation of public policies linked to gender equality;
- to identify internal practices of the IP Offices with regards to the management of information and establishment of gender indicators;
- to share good IP Offices’ practices encouraging the use of the IP system; and
- to identify possible future actions to continue supporting the Offices in the creation of capacities and conditions in relation of gender equality |
