Seminar on the Lisbon System and High level meetings.
The objective of the requested Seminar and bilateral meetings would be to present and have in-depth discussions on:
(i) geographical indications and other IP rights to valorize Omanis quality products linked to origin on national and foreign markets;
(ii) the Lisbon System, including the Geneva Act of the Lisbon Agreement, and other WIPO systems securing registration and/or protection of distinctive signs for quality products linked to origin; and
(iii) the main findings of the legislative review or Omani;a legislation on geographical indications, in view of securing inter aria its compatibility with the Lisbon System (Geneva Act). |
