IP and Innovation Researchers Asia (IPIRA) Conference |

As part of the WIPO Academy’s on-going support for regional colloquia and academic conferences to support IP researchers and academics, it is proposed that WIPO participates as a partner in the first edition of the IP and Innovation Researchers Asia Conference which will be hosted by the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in Kuala Lumpur from January 31 to February 1, 2019. In addition to the IIUM, the other partners are the World Trade Organization and Texas A&M University School of Law.
A Partnership Agreement between WIPO, WTO, Texas A&M University School of Law and the International Islamic University, Malaysia has been prepared and the agreement by the 3 external parties have been sent to us by email (see attached). In the Agreement it is stated that WIPO would pay a lump sum to 15 participants and finance a staff member. |
