1) Discussions with the Bureau of UN Affairs at the Department of State on the re-engagement on issues relevant to WIPO and visit to established contacts on Capitol Hill.
2) with the approved work plan for NGO and Industry Relations Section, specifically relating to regular outreach and communications with key stakeholders. Meetings will be organized with the private sector, NGO and government stakeholders to inform them of WIPO’s 2019 agenda relevant to their interests. With changes of personnel in the Congress and within the Executive Branch some of these meetings are high level requiring the presence of the Deputy Director General. |
