The purpose of the study visit is to avail the officers of the opportunity to experience first hand the daily operations of an efficient IPO in the region; to have an overview of industrial property administration, in particular in the area of trademark procedures to further the capacity of the office in trademark examinations; to provide training on the utilization of the IPAS system, patent and designs application processing and on the roll out of public education programs. |
