In his letter of April 18, 2019 (copy attached), Mr. Elvin Lako, Director General, General Directorate of Industrial property (GDIP), requested the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to organize a study visit to the Intellectual Property Office of the Czech Republic (IPO CZ) with the aim to share experiences and knowledge on intellectual property (IP), to take place in Prague, on October 22 and 23, 2019.
WIPO’s commitment to assist Albania in this endeavor was confirmed in the letter dated
May 17, 2019 (copy attached), from the Director General to Director General Lako.
The objective of the study visit would be to share experiences and practices on the modernization of the IP procedures and tools, with the view to further strengthen the institutional capacities of the GDIP. |
