The main objective of the training course is to enhance technical skills and knowledge of patent examiners from the ASPAC region using online patent search engines and to equip them with new patent examination techniques for better assessment of patent applications mainly in Chemistry and biotechnology fields.
At the end of the training course, participants will be able to search and examine inventions using online search tools which are available to the public, and to assess novelty and inventive steps in regard to inventions in chemistry and biotechnology fields. |
