This workshop is designed to enhance the knowledge of directors of public prosecution and senior prosecutors of the minimum standards and flexibilities of IP enforcement contained in Part III of the TRIPS Agreement; to enhance their skills and knowledge in relation to the public interest vested in the investigation and prosecution of IP crimes; to foster the understanding of the participants of the value of IP for economic and social development; and to discuss topical issues in the area of building respect for IP. |
