The objectives are to: (i) provide senior managers of IPOs and government officials responsible for economic and trade policies with an opportunity to deepen their understanding on the role of the IP system for the promotion of innovation, economic growth and business competitiveness; (ii) share experiences in establishing national IP policies and strategies that are consistent with, and contribute to, overall economic and trade policies; and (iii) exchange views on the role of IPOs in establishing effective IP policies and achieving national developmental goals. |
