Participating in an Interactive Workshop on Increasing the Financial Performance of Public Institutions in Practice.
This workshop will help in providing knowledge on a wide range of financial strategies and tools used across different organizations and aimed at enhancing performance assessment and budgeting of an organization. The tools include result-based (financial) management (RBM), performance-based (and outcome oriented) budgeting (PBB), activity-based management/budgeting/costing (ABM/ABB/ABC) and accrual budgeting, among others (workshop information is attached). I hope the information on best practices and tools and strategies will be useful in the upcoming 2018/19 budget preparation process.
The registration cost of the workshop is around 1,657 Swiss francs (including 19% VAT). This cost will be covered by budget unit 0081 (Performance Management, Training and Development Section).
The cost of travel and DSA is estimated at 1,305 Swiss francs (activity P3368, budget unit 0076 Program Performance and Budget Division). |
