I. The objective of the Meeting is to continue the process and the discussions held during the two previous editions of this activity that took place in Brasilia, Brazil, on September 9 and 10, 2010; and in Quintana Roo, Mexico, on May 23 and 24, 2011, in order to create a cooperation agenda that strengthen the inclusion of IP into public policies and programs that aim at scientific and technological development, July 28 and 29;
II. This Meeting will be relevant for the strengthening of the dialogue among Directors of IP Offices as well as for the definition of priorities for the establishment of collaborative activities and joint projects with WIPO, including exchange of information and details on regional programs and ongoing projects, July 30 and 31; and
III. To allow the presentation of the management report to the Secretary of the Technical Secretariat of the Ibero-American Program on Industrial Property and Promotion Development (IBEPI) and the current status of activities, and to prepare the next Work plan, August 1, 2014. |
