Reference is made to the approved memorandum dated October 30, 2013 and to the Special Service Agreement (SSA) with Professor Tom Peter Ogada on the implementation of the above mentioned project in Uganda (copies attached).
It is envisaged that Professor Ogada will undertake one or more field visits to Uganda during the duration of the project.
Following consultations with Professor Ogada on the occasion of the Thirteenth Session of the Committee on Development and Intellectual Property (CDIP) and taking into account the progress made in the work, I would like to propose for your consideration that
Professor Ogada should make his first field visit to Uganda on May 29 and 30, 2014.
The cost of the field visit (attached) will be financed from the cost approved (Budget LDCs 0035-1229). This activity is contained in the Division’s work plan and foreseen in the Special Service Agreement (SSA). |
