Train the Trainer Course for Ibero-American Countries on Plant Variety Protectoin |

The objective of the Train the Trainer Course is to train experts for training others professionals on plant variety protection under the UPOV Convention (PVP). The draft program is attached. Participants are expected to have completed the distance learning course DL-205.
It has been agreed that UPOV and WIPO finance: (1) the participation of one participant from each of the 18 Spanish speaking countries in Latin-American plus Brazil (air ticket and DSA reduced by 80% for the days of the training course); (2) three international lecturers, one from Spain and two from Latin-America; (3) one lecturer on presentation skills; and (4) transport between the hotel and the Training Center of AECID in Montevideo.
AECID will provide the meeting venue (AECID Training Center, Montevideo), lodging and meals for the participants (except speakers). |
