In 2013, WIPO organized two back-to-back Training of Trainers Programs (TOT) on Effective IP Asset Management by Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs), in cooperation with the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) of Argentina.
In his letter of April 7, 2014 (copy attached), Mr. Mario Aramburo, Director of INPI, requested WIPO to assist INPI in organizing a follow-up version of said TOTs, to be held in Buenos Aires. The objective of the training would be to create a country-wide network of IP trainers who have the relevant skills to reach out to potential SME users of the IP system. In her letter of 8 July 2014 (copy attached), Mrs. Graciela Adán, International and Institutional Relations Coordinator, INPI, requested that the TOT be held from 3 to 7 November, 2014.
